Magic Matcha Fudge

This "lean green" savoury fudge is the perfect fat bomb for people on a Paleo or Ketogenic diet but when you add essential oils, then you’ve got a dual action super snack.

For this recipe, I used doTERRA’s Grapefruit oil which was historically used to support digestion, cravings, and water retention. Grapefruit oil has an uplifting effect on the mood providing mental clarity and internal intelligence to listen to the body’s true needs instead of succumbing to sugar cravings, which is perfect for anxiety eaters.

This is the magic part...

Like all essential oils, Grapefruit oil, aka The Oil of Honoring the Body, works on the physical aspects of being human but it also digs deeper to help you dissolve emotional bonds of negative thinking surrounding personal image and body dissatisfaction. On a spiritual level this oil will help you to settle your mind and impulses for greater self satisfaction and results during meditation and inner mental reflection for soul guidance.

Essential oils are used to heal, restore and rejuvinate the body, mind and soul. 

Much more magical than tripping out on "Hash Cookies", don't ya think?! lol

INGREDIENTS:

125g Cashews

50g Cacao Butter, melted

3 TBSP Coconut oil, melted

80ml Coconut milk

2 TBSP filtered water

½ Tsp Vanilla Bean Powder

½-1 TBSP Matcha Powder (depending on how strong you want that Matcha flavour)

¼ Tsp good quality salt

4 drops Grapefruit Oil  (or other food grade essential oil)

Optional:

If required, you could add 1-2 TBSP of your preferred sweetener (xylitol, coconut sugar or maple sugar). You could even use date paste or stevia leaf. 

METHOD:

  1. In a Thermomix or high powered blender, grind the cashews to a fine flour then add in vanilla bean, matcha, salt, and choice of essential oil.

  2. Pour in melted cacao butter, coconut oil and coconut milk and blend until you achieve a smooth batter.

  3. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl at least twice then pour the batter into a baking paper lined tin or molds and set in the fridge for 40- 60 minutes.

Peppermint; Oil of a Buoyant Heart (optimistic, renewed) 

Spearmint; Oil of Confident Speech (clarity, confidence) 

Wild orange; Oil of Abundance (generous heart, creative, spontaneous)

Ginger; Oil of Empowerment (purposeful, accountability, strength)
